This week my work in Parliament and across Gedling has included:
Speaking in the House of Commons about making our elections more secure
Attending a briefing from the National Audit Office on Cabinet Office expenditure
Ensuring us Gedling taxpayers are getting a fair bang for our buck by talking to the TaxPayers' Alliance about their ongoing investigation into Councils spending
Quizzing the Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister for the Cabinet Office, and Alex Chisholm, Chief Operating Officer for the Civil Service and Permanent Secretary for the Cabinet Office, during what turned out to be a high profile meeting of the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee
Shadowing Daybrook Surgery, to better understand the patient experience and life in a GP practice.
Touring the Severn Trent site in Stoke Bardolph to learn how they are producing green renewable energy by growing crops which annually generates 46GWh.
Speaking with Gedling residents during my regular help and advice surgery
Next week I am looking forward to hosting a meeting between Mapperley Top business owners and Gedling Borough Council.
Enjoy your weekend.
