Earlier this week the Public Administration & Constitutional Affairs Select Committee heard from witnesses about so-called ‘Vaccine Passports’.
David Davis MP and Silkie Carlo from Director of Big Brother Watch outlined their concerns about the infringements on liberty that such a scheme would cause. Professor Jonathan Wolff outlined some practical concerns.
As part of the committee’s questions, I asked the panellists for their views on whether the introduction of such certification would lead to the introduction of ID cards.
