This week, my work in Parliament and across Gedling has included:
Dropping into a meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for public services
Speaking in debates during the Committee stage of the Elections Bill.
Chatting with Gedling residents about environmental matters as part of the Great Big Green Week conversation.
Asking the senior management of Nottingham University Hospitals questions on their improvement plans, following the recent CQC report.
Collecting signatures from parents/carers at Westdale Lane Infant School for a petition calling on Nottinghamshire County Council to install a crossing on Digby Avenue.
Speaking with Mapperley Top business owners
Attending the Colwick Parish Annual meeting to hear from local residents and organisations with Councillor Mike Adams
Over the weekend, I’m looking forward to reporting back to Gedling residents on the work I’ve been doing on their priorities and opening the Burton Joyce Picnic in the Park Brass Band event.
Have a great weekend.
