An horrific and unprovoked attack on Ukraine began this week and my thoughts, and I am sure the thoughts of the whole of Gedling, are with those who are in fear of their lives.
I was pleased to arrive back home in Gedling from Parliament on Thursday, where my work there and across Gedling this week included:
Attending the launch of the Arnold Community Wellbeing Hub
Discussing Nottinghamshire's Devolution options, which will increase investment in services throughout Gedling, with fellow county MPs and the Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council
Contributing to a debate in the House of Commons on Social Care in Nottinghamshire
Talking to Ministers about the Government’s proposals to ban Conversion Therapy.
Speaking to a Gedling constituent about vaccine equity and the UK’s role in ending the Covid-19 pandemic during a ONE Youth Ambassadors event in Parliament
Chatting to Burton Joyce residents during a Pop-up Street Surgery in the village
Contacting Network Rail and asking them to clear up the area surrounding the bridge on Burton Road
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
