BOOSTING SCHOOL FUNDING ACROSS GEDLING

I am committed to levelling up opportunity and transforming the lives and prospects of Gedling’s pupils.

The Conservatives Government has announced that schools across England will receive a £4.8 billion boost in 2021 compared to 2019. This means that funding for schools across Gedling is increasing by 4.3% and every school in Gedling is receiving a funding increase averaging 3.5% per pupil.

📚An almost 5% boost in funding for Carlton Infant Academy and Netherfield Primary.

📚An almost 10% increase in funding for Mapperley Plains Primary & Nursery, Burton Joyce Primary and Arno Vale Juniors.

📚All of Gedling’s secondary schools will receive at least £5,150 per pupil from 2021
