Improving our transport links, creating jobs and support businesses across Gedling

I was born and raised in Gedling and I live in Arnold, so I travel around our communities and know how important local transport links are. I also shop in our local businesses and know how vital they are at creating local jobs.

I am campaigning for projects such as a fourth Trent crossing in Colwick and better rail services at our stations in Carlton, Netherfield and Burton Joyce. By improving our local transport links (including repairing our roads!) and supporting local businesses, we can level-up our communities across Gedling and create local jobs.

Many local businesses, like Netherfield’s Deli Continental, pictured above, have been able to access Government support with help from my office. A strong local economy means more local jobs and choice for shopping and leisure.
